Title:[3049] Uranus, its rings and five inner moons (HST)
Caption:A Hubble Space Telescope image of Uranus taken on 14 August 1994 showing the rings and inner satellites. These satellites were discovered in 1986 by the Voyager spacecraft and have not been observed since. They appear as a string of three dots because the image is a composite of three taken about six minutes apart and the orbital motion of the moons shows up. On Uranus itself, there is high altitude haze forming a light cap over the south pole and some clouds at southern latitudes.
